Jessica Simpson born as Jessica Ann Simpson on July 10th, 1980 in Abilene, Texas is a magnificent American actress and singer, who has seven Billboard Top 40 hits, three gold and two multi-platinum albums.

Jessica Simpson was born to Tina and Joe Truett Simpson, a reverend. She has an older sister Ashlee Simpson, who is equally a renowned singer and actress like her. Jessica Simpson grew up singing at her local Baptist Church since her childhood. Jessica who unsuccessfully auditioned for The Mickey Mouse Club has recorded a music album with Proclaim Records while continuing her education at J.J. Pearce High School. But the album was never released as the recording company went bankrupt. Jessica Simpson undaunted left school at the age of sixteen and began singing gospel numbers for various Christian musicians.

Soon Jessica's musical talents reached wider audiences. The show catapulted Jessica Simpson to the great heights of fame. She has also won People's Choice Awards in 2006 for "The Dukes of Hazzard" {2005}.

Besides music and acting, Jessica Simpson has appeared in commercials such as Pizza Hut and Proactiv Solution and for Ice Breakers commercial she appeared with her sister Ashlee Simpson. Jessica Simpson while promoting her debut album "Sweet Kisses" in 1999 with Ricky Martin and boy band 98 Degrees fell in love with Nick Lachey, the member of 98 Degrees boy band. They eventually got married on October 26th 2002 and after four years of happy married life they were divorced in June of 2006. After a year of her divorce with Nick Lachey, Jessica Simpson has been dating Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo.
